Your donation supports the life and work of the church: outreach, technology, building maintenance, food, contributions to our community partners and denominations, guest preachers, speakers and musicians, and staff salaries and medical insurance. While we depend on and welcome volunteers who can afford to give their time and talent freely, we also believe in paying people for their labor. Volunteer
You can provide direct service to those who need the most help in our community through our monthly community meals and our community closet. We have outreach opportunities at Pride and Outfest sharing information about the church, but more importantly a smile, an ear, a kind word, and the Love of God with folks who are who are otherwise being told they are rejected by God and the church. For our regular members and friends there are plenty of opportunities to help with the life of the church, such as greeting, writing prayers, singing, playing an instrument, and volunteering for the various teams that keep us running. Pledge
When you become a member we expect you will pledge some percentage of your income or a fixed weekly or monthly amount that you are comfortable giving. We do not dictate how much you give, and we understand that people’s life situations change. But by collecting pledges once a year we can plan and vote on a budget with a reasonable degree of certainty, and if you become a member you will also get to vote. If you want to pledge without joining we will gladly accept, but for most people, pledging is a commitment of membership.
